My Online Adventures - 8.23.18.

I just had the idea to occasionally talk about the things I’ve done online, in terms of working and not working. It may get a little boring, but at least you’ll know for future reference lol. I don’t have a better title than the one I chose though…. coming up with titles is not my strong point lol. Sooo, let’s start with the things I did today to earn money (and no, I’m not going to disclose how much I make, as I don’t feel I need to)…. - I worked on my Fiverr order from my weekly client, who has been sending me 1-2 orders a week since April. - It’s cash-out night on Textbroker, and a few of my preferred clients added work, so I’ve been working on those. The shorter orders are from my writing team (you can join different teams), and the longer orders are on the open order board. I'm still working on an order, but I should be done soon. I don't feel like proofreading it, BUT, it needs to be done. When it's a longer order, I spell/grammar check it (using an online spell/grammar checker), read it out loud to catch mistakes, spell/grammar check it, read it out loud once more, and then spell/grammar check it once more. It sounds like a lot of work, in addition to the actual writing, but I'm trying to maintain my rating AND please my clients. - I signed back up for Inbox Dollars, as my account was inactive (they know I signed back up, they told me to do it), so I worked on that for a bit. I also joined Survey Junkie, so we’ll see how long I stick with it. - I did a few things on Swagbucks and MyPoints, including letting the videos play on my tablet for points while I worked on other things via laptop. - And of course, I’m here on MyLot. Now, Textbroker and Fiverr will always come first, as that’s my actual job, and I have deadlines to meet and clients to please. The survey sites, and MyLot, are for fun and spare change, so they have to go on the backburner when things become busy. Okay, so what did I do online besides the work/money related stuff? - Social media. I wasn’t as active today on Twitter and Facebook, as I didn’t want to become distracted while working. I’ve been logging in here and there, but I’ve mainly stayed logged out. I also updated my Instagram, I’m doing a picture challenge for fun, but certainly not posting every day, oops lol. I’m not giving out my social media accounts right now. - Updated my New Kids On The Blog fan blog, “NKOTB Block Party”. It’s a video day, which means I only added the video to the blog, as opposed to posting an image on the blog and Instagram account. Truthfully, I didn’t feel like posting to both, so I just did a video today lol. I chose the video for “Baby, I Believe In You” - which is from a concert back in the 1990’s, since it’s Throwback Thursday. I know a fan blog may seem “silly” to others, but it’s just something for fun, and a break from the usual online tasks. But like MyLot and surveys, it goes on the backburner when works calls for it. - I hit up Wish to try and win a 2018 keychain during their daily giveaway. My niece won the same one for her brother, and I was trying to win one for their cousin, as both of them graduated this year. There were quite a few available, however, I was a few seconds too late thanks to Big Brother lol. It came on at the same time as the giveaway, so my bad haha. It’ll be available again, or I can just buy it at some point lol. I got my daily login bonus and logged out. - Oh, and I checked my email today, which was a nice little cluttered mess. :D If I actually stayed on top of checking and cleaning my inbox, it may not get cluttered so often. I have several emails (regular, work-related and surveys), and I manage to clutter them all up. I think that’s all I really did. It wasn’t really an adventure, though my inbox was pretty scary haha, but oh well lol. I’ve been more busy with my writing and the survey sites today. I’ll probably cash out on Textbroker (already did on Fiverr) and hit the hay. You all have a good night/day, and take care. :)
