flu article

I never had the flu shot. I don't like needles. I have heard of people getting the flu even though they had the flu shot. I only had the flu once and that was when I was little. In this article, a "peacher" says instead of getting the flu shot, to turn to the Lord. She says she doesn't think there is a such thing a flu season. I think she is wrong. Yes God can heal people. But certain times you need medicine. And being a Christian doesn't mean you won't get sick. Here is the article:

There are a lot of crazy people out there who believe anything. Even televangelists. I know there is such a thing as the flu. I've had it many times. I've never had the flu shot because I can't, being allergic to chicken. You're right, being a Christian doesn't mean you don't get sick.

I think people who are vulnerable definitely need to get a flu shot, God helps those who help themselves.

There are some who've selected to refrain from having such shots. There are many ways to add the protection huh? I'm having a blessed day and hope others are enjoying their weekends.

God made doctors to help us. I take a flu shot every year and I have since they came out. I had the flu 2 times since and that was when a new strain was around, Last year was one time and the other was back in 2002.

Oh yes that is rubbish, altho I have great faith, we can always use meds when we are sick.

When you get a "flu shot" they do not still know which will be the group of germs that will cause the flu during the coming season. That said, I do not get a flu shot and I stay at home during the time people get their flu shots, because they bring around live germs. I never had a flu since I was a kid.

I don't get a flu shot but it has nothing to do with God or healing me. I just choose not to and normally I'm not around a lot of people when flu season hits. I do get a pneumonia shot though

I got allergic (real bad reactions) to all the flu shots I have got so far, but then my whole family seemed to face the same problem. Strange thought, that God's word could stop the flu .
