Daily Two Cents shutting down

A few years ago I started writing for Daily Two cents but stopped about a month later. I guess they still have me registered there as they advised me by email that the Harlow-McGraw media group which includes Daily Two Cents, PenStrokes, Honest Reviewz and a few others, is shutting down at the end of the month. They say they are closing down because they can no longer afford to keep the sites going or pay the writers and due to health reasons.
It is always sad when another writing site closes down. I am happy I didn't invest much time there. Did you ever write for this site?

Not sure how long they were up but I started writing for them just after Bubblews closed almost 4 years ago. Shortly after I joined they cut back on payments. I was only there for about 1 month.

Yes, I wrote for DTC, but I stopped last year I think.

Good you didn't. I found out very quickly that I didn't like the way things were there. I am actually surprised that they lasted that long.

I used to write for an Indian site and they used to pay well for my contribution. However, they closed the shop one day, may be due to financial reasons.

So many new and old sites closing. It is hard to decide where to invest your time.

@JudyEv I did write for Infobarrel once too for a short time. Something they did annoyed me, I don't recall what, so I asked them to delete my account.

It is hard to find legit sites these days. The only legit one I can vouch for is Hub Pages but they have really strict rules and I only write for them occasionally.
