Inflatable Hot tub

United States
August 28, 2018 1:09am CST
Inside the house? Or outside the house? I live in the Pacific Northwest and recently purchased an inflatable hot tub. It is currently outside, but it’s hard to keep it even at 100 (each time used maybe 30 min- an hour). I’ve seen people insulate theirs on you tube but it looks so tacky.

Then insulate yours and do something better. Of course it's gonna look tacky. Its an inflatable hot tub. How good do you expect it to look?

@thislittlepennyearns Well, I did plan on a deck with insulation inside. But I am military and it will be moving, which means I will have to make it portable to go with the hot tub. I thought about possibly putting it in the garage. That way I don’t care if it’s tacky

@anya12adwi Mostly used to relax in. The hot water and jets help to sooth sore muscles. It’s basically a really hot bath but more room

@Al77doodle it's a brilliant idea to keep it cool.

@May2k8 I actually didn’t think about that. I do have a window though directly next to where I would be placing it in the house if I moved it inside. My recent thought was what about water being splashed about with the jets and getting in and out. It is a wood floor, but not waterproof.

@lady1993 It’s the same type of material as an air mattress. I bought it off of Amazon

An area near the house, but outside would be the best.

@Janet357 you should get one! I serviced regular hot tubs for about a year at vacation rental homes and they are a pain! This one is way less maintenance and really easy to set up.
