Trump Administration considering regulating Google search

Larry Kudlow, President Trump’s economic adviser, said today that the government is “taking a look” at whether Google search should be regulated. This comes after the president tweeted that he believes Google search results are biased against conservatives: "Google search results for 'Trump News' shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD. Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal?" the president tweeted. Google replied, "Search is not used to set a political agenda and we don't bias our results toward any political ideology." What do you think? Would you like to see the government determine the results you get when you do a Google search? I wouldn't! Photo credit: FirmBee via Pixabay (Public Domain)

It already looks like the mature president, regulating everything in the country, the bad thing is that when you start with that you can end up like venezuela.

@Corbin5 My God, I do not know what's going on here, we have the most non-renewable and most valuable resources in the world and we live as poor, in addition to a tropical climate that allows everything to be in abundance, definitely the administration of this country is the poorest in the world. world, the problem must be that everyone who rides in power badly spends money.

@domiwla The truth is that Trump has been rolling back regulations massively in the country since he took office. In just his first three months in office he saved tax payers over $86 billion in regulations. That number is massively higher now.

@domiwla Trump should take your country as an example of what should be a perfect democracy. I wonder why he is not friend with Maduro like with Kim Jong-Un ?

Well what do you know? I would not like him to be nosing in what I am researching. I would not even bother to see what he is doing so why should he try to stop us doing what we do. Nope, would not want the search results to be determined by them or him or whatever.

I am not necessarily for regulation. But Trump's 'accusation' if you want to call it that is true. A couple of recent studies showed that 90% of the returned top results are from liberal media, and even quite a few very obscure far left leaning media. I, for one, just cut through the crap by not using search much for my news, and becoming aware of more fair minded media sites that are out there.
