Today I had an unexpected visit

A father with his boy came to us. They didn't ask before if we are home. I was surprised to see them again. We rented a room to the boy two years ago. Now he wanted to rent that room again.But we don't want to live with strangers anymore. The boy and his father were disappointed when I told them we don't receive strangers anymore. It's weird that they came without announcing.

It is entirely your decision to rent or not. They should not have come without phoning first.

Oh I am so sorry they did not be able to get a room there. It may have been okay. But it is your parents choosing.

Oh yes, I really do not like when people come without informing or asking because though sometimes we are free but it's not that we are always available. We should always ask before going to anyone.

It is always better not to keep strangers. You don't know how they are and what is their intention.It is always better to rent to people who you know well. Nowdays many fraud is taking place.So you have to be careful. Your decision was right.
