How to be smart in decision making?

If you are confused about which to pursue whether to work from home or go back to the corporate world or risk starting a small business. If your heart wants to start a small business but your partner and the people around you aren't supporting you. Working from home isn't stable unless you got hired by someone who would be willing to keep you. While working in a corporate world offers big opportunities and awesome benefits however stressful and life-work balance seems impossible.

I have a few friends that works from home and they love it. Course, they are working for a company that makes sure they have what they need. One of my friends deals with oxygen and he was able to set up a little area in his shop to work out of. This saves the main office some money by not having to rent a shop plus my friend gets paid a little for using his shop and I also gets paid for his hours that he works.
