I don't want to cook

Have you ever just point you just don't feel like cooking anything. For the past few days that is how I have been.
I think the hit might have some to do with it, in fact it gets so hot sometimes around here in the summer that you can't even enjoy grilling outdoors. So I have been just making a sandwich or something else that you don't have to cook. It won't take very long before I'll get tired of eating this and go back to cooking though. I guess it's like fast food, I can eat it for a little while, then I'm ready for a good home cooked meal!
I guess that's one advantage of living by myself, I only have to cook when I want to .

I eat a lot of eggs when I´m alone. Mostly they are omelets, but I also have them scrambled with bacon on the side.

I'm sure glad it's not mandatory for me now! When I was married and my kids were young I had to cook everyday, this was something my husband demanded!

@lady1993 Oh, I live by myself. My husband and I separated in 1990, and he passed away 5 years ago.

My problem is, I have A/C but the days it's in the 90's, it runs all the time and I'm lucky if the temp. in the house drops below 80. So yea, days like that you sure don't want to cook.

I couldn't agree more. The extreme heat is the main reason why my mom didn't cook today. It's been hot and humid since last week. So, we just went out to have lunch and dinner.

I do that sometimes to, to hot to cook, tired of eating sandwiches and things, so I go out and eat.
