Watching Gordan

Looking outside the sliding glass door watching a steady rain come down with gusts of wind blowing the rain onto the patio as the frogs frogs are croaking a tune enjoying the bliss (to them at least) of the stormy weather. T am staying dry inside enjoying the pitter platter of the rain falling on the tin patio roof and glad that Tropical storm Gordan is not so bad. We should have rain for the rest of the night with some tropical force winds. at times (but still breezy elsewise) Though the lights have flickered we are far enough from the eye we should not lose power. Still hard to believe there were those who ventured into the Gulf even though double red flags were flying putting both their and lifeguard lives in danger. Bet they will think twice after having to pay a hefty fine for disobeying.

I hope you didn't have any bad results from Gordon but you haven't posted in 4 days and that is not a good thing.

No bad result I just been busy. Now watching the Atlantic with 3 name storms and hoping Florence doesn't regained the strength back into a Cat 5 storm as it is aiming for somewhere along the east coastline by the end of next week

I'm glad they are fining these stupid idiots. I'm almost tempted to say they should just let them drown.

Not even surfers with their tethered boards to their ankles are allowed out when double red flags are waving (though if they have a tethered board they are the only ones allowed in the water with a single red flag). Wdaing on the edge of the shore is not even allowed

@Elizaby There are good reasons for these rules. I'm glad they are fining people.

Stay safe thru the storm, I hope that you have a hurricane emergency kit in the house, just in case.

So glad you aren't getting the brunt of Gordon. As for those idiots out in the Gulf, they should get fined! What morons there are in our world.

I hope they will think twice about it next time. I'm glad it's not bad near you.
