Today is the 72nd wedding anniversary of my (departed) parents. The picture I attached here was the golden wedding anniversary of my parents and we were complete as a family, in the year 1996.
Six months after their wedding anniversary, my loving father left us at dawn of March 21, 1997 due to congestive heart failure and COPD.
At dawn of June 13, 2009, my mother followed him to heaven. Both of them used their golden wedding attires when they were laid to rest in their respective caskets.
And it is 22 years now since this family picture was taken. No more little kids; all those kids are grown-ups now.
(And don’t try to find where the father of my son is, because he was ‘scrammed’ when my son was still 6 months young.)

yes i am. that toddler is my 26 year old son now. and thank you too, for not 'searching' for his father.n
those 4 men at the back are my brothers. my father neither smiled whenever he is pictured, one of his traits that apparently my son inherited from him.
we also have a video tape of the whole celebration in VHS and Betamax tapes yet.

This is a beautiful family photo. Rest in peace your dear departed parents. They were together so long and followed one another.
They had a beautiful family.
Good the father of your son is gone but sorry to hear it. I did the same my son was only 2 months old and I scrammed the bad man too.

thank you. the family picture and the one with us children and our parents are hung in our living room.
we do not really want to be separated from the fathers of our kids, but there are circumstances that we make the decision to 'scram' them out of our lives.
