Some of the questions I ask...

Even I have to shake my head at. Have you ever asked a question that you HAD to know the answer to and actually googled it?
Today...because I was bored...I was thinking about organic foods. I don't care whether food is organic or not, I eat whatever I can afford. But this train of thought led me to thinking about meat and how some of it is labelled "Organic". Really? Organic MEAT? But doesnt organic mean carbon or plant based?
I googled it and the definition I found for "organic" was "Raised without herbicides, pesticides or animal bi products."
But isn't meat, in itself, an animal bi product? Then how can it be organic?! 
My ultimate question that I just HAD to google was...If organic means containing no herbicides, pesticides or animal bi products, are vegans organic people?
What are your thoughts?

Those are the questions I don´t ask myself because the only place I know that veggies are raised like that is my garden.

@Starmaiden Yes. But probably it did not have any thing to do with it being healthy. I don´t know how to use pesticides and the like.

Looking into it, I found that the term started being used when they contrasted organic farming (using the natural products of the farm to grow things there) with chemical farming (using formulated pesticides-etc.)
A fellow MyLot -er found Organic 's definition (as seen in your grocer's produce-section) on Google: "Raised without herbicides, pesticid...

Anything I have seen that is organic is very expensive. I looked it up and got this answer about organic meat.
Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones.
