NICEATMA: A short introduction

Hello everyone!!
I'm new here and I would like to introduce myself.
I've been using niceatma for some time now, it is a combination of my real name and the sanskrit word 'atma'. Atma is literally translated as 'self'. In some culture it is the spirit soul, the essence, spark of life or the person inside the body.
I am a (bhakti) yoga practitioner or mantra yoga and love to cook. I enjoy doing computer stuff like picture editing, programming and sometimes gaming.
I'm interested in Taekwondo and am planning to take lessons for promotions even at my advance age.
My favorite food is pizza and I am a vegetarian too.
My interest is aroused with existential topics like the purpose of life, how to experience real happiness, the root cause of social and personal problems and similar stuff.

The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.

I like cheese on my pizza from time to time so I am not vegan, but I sometimes vegan-ise my pizza by substituting cheese with nutritional yeast.. Where I am residing now, vegans will have a hard time looking for dairy substitute because only a few have heard about veganism or even vegetarianism. I live in the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines by the way, near the mountain ranges.

But somehow your a Filipino because of your name which is Aquino. Former President is benigno Aquino III.

@ilocosboy I am indeed from the Philippines. It's good for you to notice. A family name as popular as mine can't deny my nationality. Our family came from the same province as the former president's but I am now living down south in Mindanao.
