It is 11:30 PM here, night is cool I can feel the redolent of winter, it is around i can smell it -hope it is not effect of beer. Winter is the season of festival. Our festival starts from Raksha Bandhan(festival of brother and sister, where sister ties sacred decorated thread on wrist of her brother and wish his long life and brother in turn vows to always protect and take care of his sister). This is generally celebrated in month of August. The date varies each year. Then comes Teej. This festival is celebrated mostly by married Hindu women who fasts and wishes long life of her husband.I like this festival most because at this particular day i see my value in my wife eyes Then starts .Dussehra. This festival last for 10 days.Just following this is Diwali by then new year is within our visibility range. I have attached a picture taken from google showing RakshaBandhan celebration which just passed in August 22nd .
