Ideal time to post a discussion

When users are online that I think is the best time to post a discussion. Most users belong to the US and as far as India is concerned while India is awake US snores.
I have my own timings and that go against the best time to myLot. There is also the question of ideas cropping up.
I am ready to be ignored and whatever comes my way is acceptable to me. I post when ideas strike me. It is 6.40 am here at this moment and wonder how many are awake to read this discussion.

I am here but soon I will be getting offline. It is 9:11 PM and soon time for me to relax before bed. It was very confusing for me when I moved to the U.S. again because of all the years I lived in Riga, Latvia where are this time it is 4 AM on a Wednesday morning.

That happens often but when one is online they tend to respond to discussions that are posted at that time.

I get that you are trying to post a discussion when mylotters from the US are awake. For me, if one of my posts hit or not a better time is just a question of luck. And I have as many friends from India and the Philippines as the friends from the US. Luck!

You have already discussed well. It is all about when one comes here and such. There is so much one can write about the timings that suit them and how they go about posting here. That there is nothing to discuss needs analysis (lol)

@allknowing @LadyDuck I usually post when it is afternoon or evening in Europe as I feel closer to European members than to members from other continents.

I just cannot suit ideal timings though. I am different in that not all are awake in India at 4 in the morning and not all go to sleep by 8.30 - 9

@arunima25 Most of us do it that way but if you want your discussions noticed you should be there when the community is awake.

@allknowing I write a post whenever I feel like doing so. Some get good number of responses while others are just left out unnoticed. So I am not sure that what works.

@allknowing I would assume the majority of people mylot because they want to not because of the money; and if that is the case, they will mylot when it is convenient for them not when they are likely to get the most interaction, which could lead to higher earnings.

It is 5.20 in the evening. 8 pm is not too late unless users post from their respective offices. That has an effect too.

I think posting comments should come naturally. When you posted, it was 8:10 EST in the US, so most people are not asleep by then in the US, so 6:40 is an okay time to post.
