Paypal - Happy that I got my account back

In my earlier discussion I had mentioned that paypal talked about some suspicious activity in my account - only they know what they were talking about - and therefore had to go through the verification process.
They had my old mobile which I never use now where they said they would send me a verification code and also they wanted me to answer security questions answers to which I had completely forgotten.
Every customer care that I could find on the Net asked for this information. There was one that had scope for me to speak to someone and there again I had to go through those questions - press 1, press 2 and so on.
I went on the Net to see if I could avoid those questions and there a computer geek had the answer - just press 0 at every question they said. I did that. I was finally connected to a human voice. I got help there. They helped me change my password, change my mobile number and also security questions.
I can now login at paypal without any hassle.
I can now breathe easy.

I have yet to know what suspicious activity they talk about that led to verifying my account. I never had problems with paypal before .

@LadyDuck Don't you think the owner of the account has the right to know what that suspicious activity is?

@allknowing The connection from a new mobile. Suspicious activity could be that someone has stolen your password and is trying to check your account using his own mobile.

@bagarad Were you banned from approaching them again?
Actually when I reached where I could talk they asked questions where I had all the answers such as my bank account last 4 digits, my old phone numbers etc. and so I do not see any reason why they should suspect anyone who opts for this approach.

@allknowing Yes. I forget which business it was, though. Probably some government agency.

@allknowing There could be errors in their system, because everything must have a reason.

@May2k8 They should take the account holder in confidence.

Atleast they should explain what that suspicious activity is all about (lol) Some user warned me to be careful and not make such mistakes again. Is that fair I am accused of making mistakes while I am innocent.

We do not have to worry about earnings. They get automatically get transferred to our bank account here. But if I want to send money then I had to login which I could not do It was only for two days but I was determined to get it back.

@allknowing yes, even if you will not withdraw them it stays there in your account and keeps accumulating.
