Glad I came home this evening

I had my husband drop me off at home after the 1 pm NFL football games had concluded. By the time the check was paid and we got back into town it was almost 5 pm. I was getting sleepy and having a hard time keeping my eyes open while we were out. I didn't want to continue the struggle at the next bar for another few hours so I came home. It is now 9:30 pm and my husband still isn't home. I don't care that he is still out. I'm not mad about that. I'm just glad that I didn't go with them to the next place. I came home, didn't feel tired any longer, and got some good meal prep accomplished. It will be interesting to see when my husband eventually gets home.
