It is broken again

At the beginning of August I bought a new phone, Huawei P Smart, as I fell and broke my last one. Yesterday I had my phone on the table and accidentally my daughter dropped a glass of water (thank god it was empty) upon it and broke its glass 
. she cried a lot and I didn't punished her because it end up being my fault for having the phone there.
It still works fine and I don't know if it worth repairing it but I am afraid that this can make more damages to the phone.

Oh, no! I have only broken the glass on my old iPad. My husband put clear tape on it and it's been working fine for over 3 years. I did get a new one immediately, though. Perhaps your phone is still under warranty or the glass can be replaced inexpensively???
