My daily sweep

I was just wondering how in the world do people deal with more then one dog in their home that sheds all the time. I think I sweep my floors now more everyday since I've gotten my dog then I ever have before. I sometimes have to sweep more then 2 times a day, if I mess a day I have over a dust pan full. Brushing her all the time doesn't seen to matter, she still seems to shed. It makes you wish they made something to wrap them in, like one of the bubbles! lol Even today, after her bath, I combed her and was amazed at how much hair there was. This is what got me to thinking, how do other people handle all that shedding! take for instance, one of my neighbor's has a lot of dogs in their house. Their like their children to them since they can't have any. I know that none of theirs are German Shepard's like mine is, still I would think they would have to deal with a lot of hair from shedding. Of course all their dogs put together might not shed as much as Pigeon does on a daily bases. I know I have had dogs in the past that didn't shed half as bad as her.
