How The Horse Helped Me Come Up With the Idea That myLot Helped Me Make $100.24 Today

One of my favorite myLotters is The Horse. He has great titles for his discussions, including a frequently recurring joke about how myLot helped him make money that day. That happened to me today, so I thought I'd shamelessly steal The Horse's idea. I work not too far from the AAA office, so I decided to stop by to see if their insurance rates were cheaper than what I'm paying. I discovered that I've had TWO, COUNT 'EM TWO homeowners insurance policies since April. I mentioned this in passing back in April: I received a note from my credit union, saying they had no record of my having homeowners insurance. My homeowners insurance comes due in February, and this February was crazy because my dad passed away. I thought I'd forgotten to pay the bill. No, I did pay the bill. I just forgot to take the statement of declaration to the credit union. I made that discovery today and promptly canceled the second policy. That's an extra $100 a month for me!!! Since I stole the idea from The Horse, I should compensate him, so here's a video of him singing the classic "Pancho and Lefty":
