Hello everyone. Yesterday, I brought my kids to their pediatrician. I had them both checked up. My son after 12 hours of no power last Saturday developed a more bad cough and had a fever early Sunday morning with his nose stuffed also. I need to check if he needs antibiotics. Good thing he did not need any. He does not want to drink antibiotics in syrup form because of the taste and the after taste. That reason ended us up admitted to the hospital for three times last year. So I am very pleased and relieved. For my daughter, she went home with a red map like rash on her right arm in front of the elbow region. The first aid I did is to wash it up and put ice because it is itchy. Then I put diprolene ointment with petroleum jelly. When we were at the doctor, the rash is not that red anymore but still visible. So the doctor tells me to put a very thin hydrocortisone ointment before putting the diprolene. It was good to have them checked up and relieved that it is nothing serious. I hope you all have a good day/night.

It is good to take the children to the doctor for checkups, even when they are not ill.

I am happy to know that at least in your own way you were able to make a mother's remedy on your daughter's right arm. I think , the cough and colds are caused by the weather that will be sunny then suddenly it will rain. I also had a sudden colds last Friday. I just kept drinking a hot water (as hot as my throat can take) Then at night, I took paracetamol. Before I slept, I sniffed on each nose White Flower embrocation where I pour some in a folded tissue. The next day, I was feeling fine already.

My kids used to have similar skin problems when they were tiny. Glad that they are no longer small. Their turn now to care for their own little ones.

But at least, they follow and do it. My son will vomit the anitbiotics if the smell or taste is not into his liking.

A bad cough not all the time needs antibiotics, it's better not to abuse of antibiotics.
