It's about 12:30, couldn't sleep, so I decided to cook some chicken in the crockpot. I thought I would ask how much do you use your crockpot. I think I need to use mine more for the convenience that it brings, but I guess I don't much think about it. I know it can be a real time saver. I usually use mine for roast, or ribs. I need to go through some of all these recipe books I have and find some things in there. So how often do you use your crockpot?

In the summer my crockpot makes an appearance every couple of weeks. In the winter it is used several times a week.

We had a crockpot for about 3 or 4 years but never once used it. So I sold it. Lol

@popciclecold It's not at all a common thing here in Europe. I know no one who has one.

This time of year I use it more so I can be in the garden without worrying about dinner

That sounds good, how long do you be in the garden, sounds interesting.

@popciclecold Some days not long other days a couple of hours at a time. That is while still keeping critters fed and other chores done too. It is just nice not to have to check on the food.

It sure will make it mushy. I use one but not too often.
