Weather warming up again- even after so many rains

So we had a good August and initial September with rains, sometimes flooding a few streets- not because the rainfall was too massive but due to crowded areas and issues in de-silting storm water drains, and also design problems in roads.
Yet now it is dry season again, and it is warming up again.
It makes me surprised that why it is heating up so much even after so much of rain.
Perhaps global warming is not something easy to deal with.
Yet this means, I will have to keep my AC working- a recent repair took me Rs. 2150/- (roughly 30 USD at current rate-roughly 1 USD= 72 INR not too high but hits monthly budget).
And running car AC means more petrol usage.
So, may be I will have to get myself prepared for more walk in heat!
So how is weather shaping up in your area- getting colder or hotter, or rainier?

After a couple humid days in NJ (USA) it is cooling off. Temps in low 70's as we enter Fall. Here's a quote to keep in mind about the weather....

Still hot here. Today it's supposed to be 90F. But it's been in the 80's most of the week.

@franxav India has seen higher inflation in 1980s and 90s, still people survived. It is only that some of our desires go unfulfilled, and that sometimes makes us frustrated.
