Semi-gluten free for the spoiled brat

In previous posts, I've written about my IBS which makes me refer to my gut as a spoiled rotten brat.
Nothing seems to help calm her down lately, so I'm going to cut out bread and as much gluten as possible to see if that helps.
I know it's a fad with a lot of people to go gluten free, but I sure hope this helps me. If I see some improvement, I'll make a more serious effort to eliminate gluten from more of my diet.
But for now, the bread's gotta go. And I dearly love bread.
Oh, the sacrifices I make for that brat. She better appreciate it.
Can you tolerate gluten or is it a problem for you? Any advice? Thanks!

I have no problem with bread or anything gluten but hope your sacrifice for your brat helps.

She's certainly brattier than any of my kids were! None of our grandkids have been this spoiled.

I'm not sure yet if the gluten is part of the problem or not. I don't know what else to try at this point.

Yes, I've seen my Gastroenterologist for years about the IBS. It usually goes away for a while, but this is relentless this time.

Gluten isn't a problem for me but our daughter-in-law has a lot of issues with it. As @Platespinner says it's in just about everything including cough syrup and tooth-paste .

I love, love bread, so it won't be easy, but hopefully worth it.
