Sad news about a former Bubblews member.

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed a few minutes ago to more out of boredom than anything, when I scrolled across a post from a friend that I made on Bubblews five years or so ago.
Well, it was actually posted by her husband. I knew something was wrong, but since we hadn't talked in awhile I wasn't aware how bad things were. I knew cancer was involved but I hadn't realized how bad it was taking its toll, or how grim the outcome would be.
She had been battling leukemia for the past two years and lost her battle this morning.
While I am glad she is at peace, and is no longer in pain. I am also very very sad that I didn't get to talk to her again before she passed. I am so sorry for her kids and her husband and all the pain they are now dealing with now that she's gone.
Katie was her name, and I can't remember her Bubblews handle off the top of my head, but she was from Gainesville. She was a truly beautiful person inside and out and was such a great friend to have. She will be missed by me, as well as many many others who lives she touched.

If I could remember her screen name It would be helpful,but I cant. its been so long since ive thought about bubblews.

I miss a few of them also as we posted and commented quite regular with each other a lot were from the States and others.
Been a long time and was a bit sad to give all that up.

@thislittlepennyearns I stopped after I got my last payment from them that I had to fight for. So I left a few months before that. I might know her by her bubblews name but that would be the only way.

She and I were really close back then, and kind of drifted apart in the last couple of years.
Russo was her last name then, she got married a year or two ago, and it changed.
But she was so young, I think late thirties early forties.

@1creekgirl Her youngest was eleven or twelve I think. I think she was eight or so when when we met.

There were some fine people at Bubblews. I wasn't there long enough to get to know a lot of people but the people I interacted with were nice. Sorry to hear about her passing. So many people are battling cancer. I hope she had a good life.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I am sorry she had cancer. That can be very hard and I am glad she is at peace too but sad for her loss to people.
