Pain relievers do not cure the ailment

The first thing we reach out for is pain killers when we have pain not realising that which caused that pain still persists. In fact while these pills work on us to relieve us of the pain that which caused that pain becomes worse/ There is no option but to go for antibiotics and a pain killer together to get rid of the ailment. But antibiotics do hurt our kidneys. The only option left therefore is prevention. As prevention is better than cure.

We cannot buy antibiotics here with a written prescription of our doctor, at least this is one thing that cannot hurt us. Most pain reliever have long term side effects. The very common Ibuprofen seems to be the cause of ringing in the ears. The pain is a message of the body that something is wrong, better to consult a doctor.

If we can tolerate pain one can do away with pain killers and only go for that which gets rid of our infections.

@LadyDuck I used for a while when I had that accident but even when the doctor said I should continue I stopped them on my own I believe in homoeopathy and that comes to my rescue without side effects.

@allknowing I only used pain killers when I had severe migraines, too painful to tolerate and I had pain killers when I had kidney stones. This was the most painful experience of my life.

I only take pain relievers or any medicine as a last resort. I always look for alternative methods of healing and pain relief.

Antibiotics only relieve temporary pain, my mother has also not consumed it for a long time because it can damage the kidneys.

Usually pay more attention to exercise, enhance immunity. I don't like antibiotics, either.

There are so many approaches to curing a disease and antibiotics should be the last alternative. I dread antibiotics too. And ofcourse doing things that keep us healthy is the best choice.

What is so amazing about it? The fact of the matter is many neglect their ailment when pain disappears A good example is the teeth

I did that when I was hospitalised after my accident. I stayed away from pain killers after taking them for some time and the pain did disappear after a while.

You are right but it is a vicious cycle. My friend had pain neede antibiotics, the antibiotics made her ill but took care of the infection then she needed more antibiotics to stop feeling ill. Best to keep to one's health any way you can.

Antibiotics are the worst when it comes to curing a disease. I only hope something safer is found out.

Sometimes knowing what is in store for us we go for it. I knew I should not eat salty stuff but I did (lol)

@JudyEv If only our tongue worked in tandem with our stomach that would be great but it is not so

I don't take pain relievers or antibiotics because they are bad for kidneys. And yes, prevention is always better than cure. To live a healthier lifestyle, eat the right kinds of food and do some simple exercise/workout at home. Also, avoid getting stressed out.
