What's with Google Gmail??

I notice a new trend in Gmail. They have picked up a certain mail and are asking me if I would like to follow up. How dare they read my personal mail and tell me that requires my attention.
I am now tryiing to see if I can hide my activity from Gmail. or may be even Google Chrome.
There is one good development there inasmuch as we can delete our messages that we have sent and the receiver will not see that message. The unsending however has to be done quickly.

That unsend option should be used immediately. If you delay then they get the mail which you cannot delete. I tested and saw.

@allknowing Yes, it has to be used immediately and it is immediately after I hit "send" that I remember that I did not join the attachments.

I don't have this, maybe it is just offered to the best gmail subscribers.

@Mavic123456 Why should they even bother whether we attend to messages received or not.

@allknowing seriously speaking, I don't think that they are reading our emails. I can't imagine how many millions of emails they will read in a second. Anyway they might have this in the program that if you were not able to answer then it will remind you. I like the yahoo saying if you don't reply on any of the senders, they will ask if it is a spam mail and they will put in spam section.

Against one email there is a comment in red "sent 7 days ago - follow up?"

Is there anywhere we can complain about this?

@allknowing I have no idea but I won't be wasting my time. Now I know what's happening I can just ignore it. I know we should complain if we're not happy but honestly I think it would be banging our head against a brick wall.

@JudyEv I too have ignored it but this is going too far. How dare they open our personal mail and suggest that we follow up. This is a dangerous trend.

I am active on Gmail but have not noticed that so far. That sounds like stupid suggestion which many would not like.

There is only one mail they are after. My nephew and I are having an exchange of mails and I have not responded to his last message which according to me is not called for but gmail thinks I should
How dare they?

@allknowing They are poking their nose unnecessarily. It is an inconvenience.

I have yet to know why Gmail has done that. They have no business.
