My very best friend just arrived from a beautiful trip that she and her husband shared with me (and others via WhatsApp. They took the Trans Siberian train and we were able to see in pictures Siberia, Mongolia, part of China and then, on their way back, Paris.
She told me a lot and the pictures also said more than words. Probably we will get together to talk with pictures on hand.
The riches of some places and the strange things that I could see, have me awed.

I cannot do it. It is too expensive and too tiring.

@LadyDuck Everything is very expensive from the southern part of South America. But even if it weren´t that expensive, it would be too tiring for me.

I agree. My friend traveled to a place too far away and to expensive from here for me to go. But they have the photos that they will share with me.

@marguicha It’s actually on my bucket list to go to China and Paris. Maybe someday you can travel somewhere too?

There are some trips that elude you for some reason. I wanted to go to Cusco, Perú for ages. When my eldest daughter finally said that she could come with me, I discovered that I could not go.

@marguicha It's a pity these things happen - or don't happen as the case may be - but we do have a lot to be thankful for and some lovely memories of other places.
