You can donate money. You can donate clothes, shoes, your cars and house and lot. And you can donate blood and save lives. Donate your kidney, liver, eyes and other organs but the easiest is our own blood and be the hero. I have done it three times and it feels good. You donate and replenish your blood and rejuvenate, that's good for our health. Instead of wasting why not give and extend life span of other people. Awhile ago another blood letting program happened in the city. So many attended and donated their blood. I guess many people wanted to be a hero. Good for the community.

@ilocosboy Yeah we are banned from doing it. I have no std but yeah std is the reason. They banned people with tattoos because of std's.

i cannot donate blood; first because i am anemic; second because i have low blood pressure; lastly, i have a heart ailment. but i can give my unsolicited care to patients receiving blood transfusions.

I understand you, some people want to do it but can't because of pricking needle and blood. I myself have to battle the fear of the needle prick to my middle finger to get my blood type.

One doctor I interviewed said they do it quarterly of the year. They can make stocks of blood for dengue patients, accidents injury among other who need blood, still they still run out of stock by the end of the quarter.

@ilocosboy There are many cases of blood transfusion and the all the blood they collect may not enough or did not match the type of blood the person has needed.
