Thrift store finds.. / myLot

I took a picture but somehow it didn't get saved. Anyway today I stopped in at the thrift store for the first time in a month or two and picked up a new with tags green polo for work, five of the seven Chronicles of Narnia paperback books, a reusable glass water bottle, two stuffed animals for Harley and Man of the year on DVD and spent just under $8. Not as great as some of my excursions, but they didn't have enough books for me to do a bag of books but I only paid $0.20 each for the books I did get. Have you got any good deals today?

Those are really good deals. I got all my good deals while shopping online for my new apartment and have gotten nice cash back from Ebates.

I have not shopped today. I have always liked the Narnia books, glad you got a deal on most of them.

That's great! I go to thrift stores to locally called Savers, Goodwill or Salvation Army. I went window shopping for jeans and blouses, but couldn't find any that I was interested in. I go time to time window shopping at thrift stores and like you hoping to find stuff I need or want.

@thislittlepennyearns Mine is far too, but I like browsing when I'm that way if I've the time. Savers is close by and I signed up for their card and email alerts. Savers got a lot of sales. One going on now for costumes.

Yesterday, my missus and I went to Michael's and bought some items to decorate our house and for the gift basket we are donating to the church for Fall Festival and saved over 60% off of what the items would have cost at their regular price. We knew some of the items were on sale but had no idea of how much we'd saved until my wife was looking over the receipts this morning.

That's awesome! The last time I went to Walgreens and hit the clearance I saved fifty eight percent.
