You are wrong hariholla I muslims had not invaded our country, India would be remained as the superpower of India. Don't you it is called "Sone Ki Chidiya" In ancient Times. Even Alexaner the great could not capture India.

Paksitan was the right of Muslims of Sub-Continent. That was the right decision of Britishs. India is still a huge country there is no doubt about that and it has the potential to be the super power but it can't happen over night it has to go long way. but one thing it is not having very good foreign policy, nor the good relations with its neighbours. It will be more progresive if it has friendly relations with neighbours. In this way it can capture more foreign investment etc.
