I won a prize!

Today, we had a teacher workday. We were working on our curriculum maps all day. At the end of the day the people in charge ran analytics on how many things we had added or changed on our curriculum maps. I got second prize because I had entered over 170 pieces of curriculum.
Two other music teachers got first and third place. We decided it was because we teach all grade levels and so we have more maps than everyone else.
I'm ready to go home and stop looking at a computer.
Have you won a prize at work? I think this is my first one!

Yes, I was pleased. I also worked hard (but not because there was a prize, because I didn't expect to get one.)

In my lifetime I won many awards but the best was the people I became close to because of my work!

There was a small bag of candy attached to a lanyard from a conference that other teachers had presented about curriculum. The candy was good. The lanyard might be a bit geeky but nice. (We wear lanyards for our school ID tags.)
