What sort of power cuts are these?

It is true that now power cuts (accidental or deliberate) activities in our neighbourhood have came down.The situation was not that good even a decade ago.
Today, after many days I saw a power cut in my place. But since then power is going out and coming back frequently. I wonder what is going on with the electricity lines today 
? Though the power is getting restored shortly afterwards , I think it is impacting the electronic devices.
Do you get such power cuts?
