Hooray for lower utility bills!

I appreciate many things about Autumn. I live in the middle of the US. We definitely experience all four seasons here. Now that the days are getting cooler, we rarely need the air conditioner. It'll be awhile before the nights will be cold enough to turn on the heat (most nights). So that means some savings for a few weeks! Is the weather changing where you live?

@BloggerDi That is great news on the savings for a little bit at least. Our electric bills are very high even though we get them every two months. The we do not get most of the bills is great. Every month I get the phone bill because I have a landline phone that I need.

Paying bills is certainly a trade-off for what we need. I like to cut back on expenses where I can. Thanks @Hannihar.

Yes, and my utility bills are considerably better, which they will be until November, and then again from April to June.

Yes I find that period between hot and cold I can save a little money on air. Moving soon so I hope the new place is the same.

It’s been hot and humid here these past few weeks. And the weather’s making me feel cranky at times.

It has cooled off here and with temps in the low 40s at night lately, we have had some heat on in the mornings. We were able to do a level payment deal with our utility bill. Instead of those high bills in the winter, we pay the same amount each month, then it is adjusted in April.

Thank you @JamesHxstatic. We were on a level payment plan several years ago. I'm considering doing that again. It makes it easier to plan the monthly budget.
