Aren't You Supposed To Be In School Kid???!!!!!

It's 1:00 pm!!! There's a kid here at the library on the computer!!! He's 14 years old and No holiday is in effect today!!!! This is not the first time!!! Should we mention this to the staff??!!! Or say something??!!!

It's very likely that he is "at school". What child would skip school to go to the library? He may be taking classes virtually.

@db20747 Unless he's family to you, I would let him be. If he's in there every day the librarians would be more likely to contact the authorities about it. Since he's still there, he's probably there for a reason.

I hated school and skipped often, I just went home, LOL. Yes call the school and they will send someone out. He may have been suspended.

Have you noticed what he's doing on the computer? He could be enrolled in online classes or even an online school like K12.com, or home schooled.

Perhaps it's time to end his " cool " sanctuary and find out if he is indeed skipping classes. I pity his parents and pity him too, he does not yet know what he is missing by not attending school.

Find out in conversation which school he attends and notify the secretary. It's possible that a teacher has become ill but if that is the case there is usually a substitute.

I don't think he's too fond of me!!!! I complain about the noise his friends and him make in the library!!! I won't ask him directly, but maybe see if the librarian can find out!!!

Yes, and i'll ask the librarian a few questions if I see this again!!! There were quite a couple of others in the library 2day too!!!
