Loud and terrible singing at a concert

I was at a Russian concert last night. As usual it didn't start on time, the wait at least half an hour. In the mean time, some music was playing and there was some female (must have been a DJ) grooving on the stage. I don't remember Russian concerts having opening acts, so not sure if she was the "opening act" or if she was just there to stall until the main singer finally decided to hit the stage. Probably about half hour later, a melody of a popular song came on and some woman a few rows behind me started singing the words to this song. Not only was her singing very loud but it was also terrible. I thought she was gonna sing a few lines and stop but she kept on singing.... She must have thought she sounded great. And then she stopped, which surprised me. Thought she was gonna keep on singing and singing.... Perhaps someone closer to her finally had the guts to tell her to stop, though if that happened I'd assume it'd be in much different words, something along the lines of "shut the eff up already".
