The barricade is there for a reason!

Some people just amazes me with their stupidity! As most people know there are flooding s all over parts of Horry County SC and a lot of roads are closed. To let people know you can not go down that road there are barricades that are placed in the middle of the road. Those that have read some of my post know that the roads leading into about any town from my house are closed. The one that is closest to the nearest town for me goes over the Little Pee Dee river, which has been closed down ever since right after the storm. Everyone was saying that the bridge has washed out. Well today it finally opened back up and I found out what happened. When the flooding started, a barricade was placed at the end of the old bridge. What caused the hole at the end of the bridge was someone in a truck with a trailer and boat on it, tried to go around the barricade and because the water was waste high and moving fast. The driver got all tangled up in the barricade. In order to get him loose they had to make that big hole in the edge of the bridge. The only reason the road was temperately fixed as fast as it was is because the other major road is underwater.

I to think they should fine who ever it was. This caused the road to be blocked off way longer then it would have been and plus the cost to repair it.

I think it will last long enough to get through the flooding, that's about all.
