Is there a possibility that newspapers would be phase out any time soon? Or it will continue in the coming years? Publishers have to say; but as consumers are you still buying it? I wonder why if newspapers are still read by readers the way it was before. Or it is still profitable (perhaps). There might be a significant drop on the subscribers. Nowadays, it’s easy to access and read news because publications are goes online as well. In addition, one can read news or articles on their timeline via shares.

That's why they have to think how they will engage people to buy their paper.

@ZedSmart now if you were thinking about the newspaper publisher, you also need to think about what will happen to the delivery kids and the newspaper vendors.

@Mavic123456 It's likely they would lost a living also. Everything is such a cause and effect.

You are right. Maybe, this time it's still profitable but unlike before when we do not have that gadget at hand. I still notice them at restaurants and coffee shops though but the usual the customers asked was the wi-fi password.

I was also thinking of this. Imagine, we have yahoo news, tv, social media, everything to keep us posted.

WE still do and I don't think newspapers would be phased out any time soon at all. It will still continue in the coming years especially in this country.

It's better. It there's no enough reason and it is profitable, then why phase it out?

@ZedSmart It's still profitable I think that's why they won't phase it out at all.

I don't get the newspaper anymore, but my uncle does. I read the news on Bing.

I think that they're not that appealing to younger generation anymore because they tend to like their gadget than reading publications.

Print media is slowly dying and will be extinct in the near future.

Perhaps. But I still want it to stay ha ha. If that's happening, the next generation won't experience it anymore but I doubt if they're reading that though.

@ZedSmart If you go in bar, you can notice that people rarely read paper News. They watch everything on smartphones or tablets.

Wow! That a nice idea. What is common now are restaurants and coffee shops have their own wi-fi connections and allow their customer to use it provided that they have their own gadgets.

At least you still continue on patronizing. Could it be a sign that its popularity is getting lesser?
