I got this picture from the internet. I just love her ponytails. If I had a shih tzu, I would definitely do this to her. I found it so delectably cute.

Yes, it's very cute. I would worry the rubber bands would hurt the dog taking them out.

@Janet357 Could be because the dog's chest hair isn't that of a shih tsu.. It seems to be a double coat dog that's been cut down. It may not even be a mixed but a pure Maltese.
