During one of my recent walks in Laguna Beach, my friends and I saw this sign for the first time. I'm not sure if it is new, or if it has been there for a long time and we just noticed it. Either way, it is something we should all pay attention to. I love the message: "Attention! Take Note of What it Feels Like to be Alive Right Now!"

Have you got an idea who put up the sign?

@MALUSE - Because it is in a city park, it must have been approved by the city. It doesn't look rusted or old, so I think it must have been a fairly recent installation. We were just surprised to see its message. Not what you expect when you see a sign at a park! LOL

@DeborahDiane Maybe the mayor is a philosopher.

@MALUSE - I'm starting to think the mayor is a philosopher. There was another sign today that looked like a "caution" sign, but said "Breathe." Charming!

@LadyDuck - It had to be the city government, and I thought it was really charming!

@DeborahDiane I do not believe that a private person had the idea to place the sign, but you can never know.

@LadyDuck - I'll have to post another picture I took of another sign. I think the city is putting them up, which is so sweet!

@JohnRoberts - It had to be the City of Laguna Beach, since it is in the middle of Heisler Park on Cliff Drive, overlooking the ocean. I saw another "Caution" sign today that simply said, "Breathe!" LOL Very interesting art work.

@DeborahDiane I am glad. When they change a street sign here I have to remember the new name and not call it by the old and that gets confusing for me.

@Hannihar - We have some crazy streets around here. One of the main streets in our area changes its name every few miles. It has four different names, which is very confusing to me!!

I think that is really a great idea. It would bring a lot of people up with a start I think and hopefully make them appreciate what they have and where they are. I might have worded it a bit differently.

@JudyEv - I thought it was a great idea, too, although I might have changed the wording. I think it was meant to look like one of the common signs in the US that warn us about something. It certainly got my attention!
