Favorite Make-Up Brand?

I like to buy make-up that is on clearance. My local grocery store's cosmetics counter usually has a basket of clearance. Another favorite has become Dollar Tree make-up. A word of advice? Back when I was an Avon Beauty Advisor, I used the Avon cream-to-powder foundation. The kind with a sponge applicator. Well, from wiping foundation under my eye, my under-eye skin become stretched out, loose and wrinkly. When I wake up in the morning now, it looks like I am either doing drugs or beat up. If you do use the cream-to-powder, just don't use under your eyes. Don't leave home without your lipstick!

Cream to powder makeup should be used with a Beauty Blender sponge and it matters how you apply them. I never used the sponge that comes with the makeup.

@Spontaneo It depends on what kind of makeup I'm using. BB creams for example are best blended by the fingertips. I noticed that my MAC Matchmaster foundation works best only with a beauty blender.

I use a brush or a special sponge to apply foundation. I never apply foundation my eyes , only concealer.

@LadyDuck I was an Avon Beauty Advisor, as opposed to being an Avon Rep. At the time, they had special training to buy, to get the title "beauty advisor".

I have only used the sponge applicator when applying the Avon. I certainly learned a lesson except too late.

I have to leave home without my lipstick. Lipstick dries my lips out terribly. I use lipbalm, and occasionally tinted lip balm, but that is it. I bought some eye shadows off of amazon once, it was about $11.00 for 20 or so shades. I don't wear makeup.

I stopped wearing makeup a long time ago. It all began when I started working at home on my PC and I see no point in starting again. A great thing that helps the skin around the eyes and keeps it from becoming wrinkly is a dab of avocado oil at night.

I have never even eaten avocado let alone use under my eyes. How would I buy avocado oil? I do not have under eye wrinkles, but sagging skin.

Thanks for sharing the information. I have been using foundation under my eyes and then applying face powder on it. If it creates wrinkles, I will stop it. But then how can I conceal my dark circles?

I like wearing makeup when going out because I look very pale when not wearing one. But I just wear a light make up (eyebrow powder, lip and cheek tint and some concealer to cover the dark circles under my eyes). By the way, my favorite brands are MAC Cosmetics, Club Clio, Sunnies Face, Maybelline, Colourette (local brand), Sooperbeaute (local brand), and Tony Moly.
