Vacation Planning

How would you plan a vacation, in advance or with quick or sudden decision? I prefer to plan my vacations in advance. I arrange everything ahead of time using a travel agent, tour company or the internet to find that my vacation will be smooth and pleasant. Planning in advance allows me to get better deals on vacation packages in hotels plus discounts on airline tickets as well. Quick or sudden decisions are unavoidable in an emergency, although I cannot get a reservation in time for any discount, so I always have to spend much more. My vacation usually becomes very stressful without advanced planning.
