A few days ago I bought the baguette mould via the net. Tonight finally I have time to make baguette with it. The result goes very well and I am so glad to it

Congratulations, it looks perfect and appetizing. It looks more like a Parisian bread than a baguette, baguettes sold here are more narrow, but perfect, you are a master baker

Really? I think my oven is not big enough to bake a normal size baguette

@youless Parisian breads are shorter, I think you bought a mould for them. It is a perfect looking French bread ; they are delicious to eat when they are still a bit warm.

@topffer Actually my oven is a big one for home, but of course it is not as big as the oven in the bakery Now I understand why the baguette is so long

They look like lovely baguettes. I wouldn't mind one - or even two!

I love eating them but they are hell to bake. One of the hardest breads to bake.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I think being hard is the character of this kind of bread

I like Baguettes used in Vietnamese sandwiches called Bahn Mi. Bahn Mi is now becoming popular in US and Canada, it has veggies, liver pate, meat and some special sauce. It is so delicious.

I understand. In fact you can easily put these ingredients inside the baguettes. Now you gave me a very good idea how to eat it next time

@youless It is also amazing to eat next to some tomato based meat stew. It can take the place of the rice.
