My Morning So Far

Trying to get used to the electricity rates here in Ontario and it isn't easy! We had one charge the entire day in Manitoba but here there are three different rates! I'm used to being on the computer all day long but I'm really conscious of what it's costing here. On the other hand, I'm getting a lot more housework done and this morning I even made up a cookie mix that I can store and then bake when the rate is less. I wouldn't have even thought of that a couple of months ago!!

I guess that I simply got used to using what I needed when I needed to do it. It didn't really matter when I decided to do it!

@Hate2Iron I might have found it harder when the boys were little. But now there is just the two of us so it's no hardship and we do save a lot by choosing our times.

The reason I don`t iron most of our clothes is to save electricity

Night time here is the cheapest of all, but I'm starting to yawn at around ten pm... I need to work all night and sleep all day!

@Hate2Iron I usually program the washing machine so that it starts around 5 in the morning and I can dry the clothing when I get up at 6.

Guess it will take some getting used to if the rates fluctuate during the day

as long as you are enjoying your day, it is just fine. Have a great day.
