Trying to get used to the electricity rates here in Ontario and it isn't easy! We had one charge the entire day in Manitoba but here there are three different rates! I'm used to being on the computer all day long but I'm really conscious of what it's costing here. On the other hand, I'm getting a lot more housework done and this morning I even made up a cookie mix that I can store and then bake when the rate is less. I wouldn't have even thought of that a couple of months ago!!

We have different rates here too. I put the washing machine and the dishwasher on after 9pm or early in the morning to finish by 7am. The difference in rates is quite significant so it's worth the small inconvenience.

I guess that I simply got used to using what I needed when I needed to do it. It didn't really matter when I decided to do it!

@Hate2Iron I might have found it harder when the boys were little. But now there is just the two of us so it's no hardship and we do save a lot by choosing our times.
