Have Any Of You Ever Saved For A Car?

After the last incident with my car, I have decided to start saving for a car. Here where I live in the country you need more than one vechicle. I don't have family here, except my son. You know husband in nursing home. I have heard other people who was born here and have relatives here, say they can't get no one to help them even if they offer to pay them. I think if they feel like that, then Lord have mercy on me. So that has me thinking and making moves for myself. I can't afford s new car, because they cost more than my house. So I started the fund yesterday to buy me a good used car. Have any of you ever saved for a car.

You are so right, if you only have one and something happens, one can be in trouble.

@popciclecold This is what I think. If you live in an isolated area, you need the car.

Nope, don't need to as don't drive. Makes me happy ther grocery store is right out back

You are so fortunate, we have absolutely nothing in the area I live in. That's why it's so difficult.

@popciclecold we have two grocery stores, dunkin, mcdonalds, bank, dairy queen, mini-golf/driving range / game room, bowling alley and game room, gym, everything within walking distance.
