@Courage7 I understand how you feel.Here the north-western corner of my town has been infamous as the heaven of anti social elements.One of my friends lives there.He has told me in detail how it feels to live among trigger-happy goons.

@Nevena83 Here some of our neighbours are our friends -not so close,but very helpful and co-operative.

@Shivram59 such neighbours are good. The more "concerned" or "poking" ones are always a nuisance.

@Shivram59 yes and sometimes if we have to respond to them in harsh way, it creates stress in relations.

@Sreekala I understand.Fortunately my neighbours never cause inconvenience for me or anybody else in the locality.We very rarely chat with each other,because we all are busy solving our own problems.None of us has the tendency or time to poke our nose in others' matters.But yes,we readily help each other when required.

@saumitra1 Those who are blessed with a friendly neighbourhood are fortunate.I hope you'll you'll continue maintaining cordial relations with your neighbours.

@saumitra1 If you can do it,then well and good.But if you have criminals as your neighbours,it is very difficult to turn them into good and civilised neighbours.

@Shivram59 Sometimes if we are not blessed with a friendly neighbourhood then we make them one..

@Icydoll Here also my neighbours are not so close to us, nor are they close to each other.But yes,they help us and we help them whenever needed.All I can say is,they are good people who are busy with their own business.

@Shivram59 That is true. I appreciate it even more because I know what it is like to have a different kind of neighbors. In the house where we lived before our neighbors had loud arguments in the middle of the night. They smashed their furniture and screamed at eachother. They also had parties with really loud music. I am so happy that we don't live there anymore.

@Porcospino I understand your problem.Here my neighbourhood is absolutely peaceful.They never quarrel.Men remain busy in their offices and their wives peacefully do their job at home.They mix up with other women in the society.A very calm,peaceful atmosphere.

@Porcospino You are fortunate.Having such nice people as neighbours is a boon in itself.Not all of us are so fortunate.There are many who are cursed with a selfish,quarrelsome neighbourhood.I'm glad to know you are not one of them.

@dya80dya I understand. Such people are everywhere.You need to be very careful.We can't change our neighbourhood easily.If some of your neighbours are bad people,you need to be very careful about your safety.Hope,you got me.

@Moon24 We are not so close to our neighbours, too.This is because we are busy with our business and jobs.But they are very nice,friendly people.

@GovindaB LOL!! Silent gossipers!! They are like my neighbours who rarely mix up with us and other neighbours.But yes,they are friendly and very helpful.
