He called me an "A$$hole." Then hung up on ME! YAY!

So our phone number, like many other Australians, is the target of scam calls. Almost every single day, and sometimes multiple times a day, we get calls from people who try to scam us. We get all sorts. Claiming to be from the Tax department saying we owe money. Claiming to be from Car Insurance saying we owe money or wanting to "help" from the "Car accident I was in"....that I never was in. Claiming to be working for the phone company we are with and owe money. We know they are scammers because they never know our names, there is always a delay when speaking on the phone and to continue such a conversation they need some personal information to make sure they have the right person to which they never do. All lies. All this sort of stuff is usually done by mail. Not random phone calls from a place that is obviously not in Australia. But the one we get almost every single day, are the people who say they are from the "Windows Technical Department." Saying we have viruses on our devices. Again, all lies. If WE have that issue, WE are meant to call for help. Not the other way around. Plus, this has already been all over the news / letters from our internet providers warning us about this. These people are always reading from a script because the beginning of the call is ALWAYS the same. If I am in a good mood, I like to play with them wasting their time or tell them I don't even have the internet to which they hang up on me. Yeah, reeeeally professional guys LOL! If I am in a so-so mood I will tell them that I know they are scammers, so they hang up on me. Cause they are cowards. But if I am in a bad mood I will just yell something down the phone and hang up. But the other day, like most days I was so sick to death of these calls. I said to this low life on the phone "You do realise I know you're a scammer. Why don't you get a real decent and honest job for f*** sake and stop trying to steal from innocent people!" His reply, was to call me an "A$$hole" and HE hung up on ME. Which is a little funny. When I annoy them enough for THEM to hang up, I feel a bit of joy. Knowing they have been annoyed by someone who they were just trying to steal from. Do you get any scam calls?
