Playing in the rain

We have been waiting for the rain to stop in the evening, so we can go to the park. The rain finally stopped, though it was quite late, I thought we might just go for a short walk and play for a while. After we reached the park, it started to rain again. My girl still wanted to go to the playground and play, so we went. Though we just spent about 10 minutes at the playground, my girl and my little boy were having lots of fun playing in the rain and in the puddle. They also played the slides with lots of water in them. They even laid down in the puddle, so they got all wet. I didn't join them for the water fun, but it's nice to see them having so much fun. Do you play in the rain? Or did you play in the rain when you were still a child?

I love playing in the rain. Even as an adult I go outside in the garden and enjoy the rain falling down on me.

Yes, I think sometimes it feels nice to let the rain drops on us. I don't get sick because of that too, that's why I always get in the rain together with my kids, though I don't play in the puddle like them. @hereandthere Is it not possible to play in the rain in Germany?

I think it's lovely for kids to play in the rain and the water occasionally if it's not too cold.

Yes, it really is. It's actually very lovely to see the kids play and have fun, as long as they don't fight. I am fine to let the kids play in the rain as long as they are not sick and it's not thundering.

Yes, the rain will not affect the children so much. Actually children like to play the water. It is not like us who will find it inconvenient to go out in a rainy day.

Yes, kids really like playing with water. Yesterday it was raining again and it's really heavy rain, we went out after the rain, and the kids were having fun in the water puddle too. Here in Malaysia, it's either sunny or rainy day.

@kaka135 Here the elders will not allow that. They say it is easy to get a cold but I don't believe it. You just do the right thing

They usually don't catch a cold or fall sick, that's why I am fine with letting them play in the rain, unless they are already sick.

I still would if I could. But I have not lately no played in the rain. I remember it doing this as a kid.

If not because of my kids, I might not go out purposely in the rain, though I don't mind to walk in the rain when I am outside.

Yes, it's fun! I still remember the last day of our exam in high school, it was raining, and we went to have fun in the rain -- It's like a celebration!

I think we don't because our parents, as long as I remember will get angry at us when we go out to play on bad weather conditions....and a punishment awaits......

Yes, I can imagine that, as my parents did that to me too, though no punishment but lots of nagging. Many parents here don't allow the kids to play in the rain too, and they always advised me not to let my kids play in the rain when they saw me do so. I usually just smiled and ignored.
