If a couple don't date long before getting married, it increases the chances that they're getting married when they don't really know each other well.
If I get married someday, I want to know a lot about the woman before tying the knot.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

The only mantra for a marriage to stay longer is commitment to make it work and keep the expectations realistic.
I knew my husband for 7 years before marriage and we met and talked some 7 times in those 7 years and that too in a huge family gathering. We actually had a real date only twice before we got married and I am happily married for long 18 years.
