Windows ME and 98 aren't even supported by Microsoft anymore. Windows XP is fine as long as you do all of the windows updates, keep your anti-virus up-to-date and use anti-spyware software like adaware or spybot search & destroy. My favorite XP is XP Professional because it doesn't come loaded with useless crap. If you are going to buy a new computer or something, you should wait until about March 2007 because new computers will have Microsoft Vista instead of XP.

i feel tht windows 98 is a stable one...but i like xp..
