This plane was said to be used in the war between the US and Japan. The town of Lingayen is famous in the province of Pangasinan because of its part in the world history. General Douglas MacArthur made history when he landed in the shore of Lingayen Gulf. During my high school and college years, I can be found in this historic place reading facts about the war. Looking at the plane and tanks. Asked myself, how was it when Japanese and Americans were bombing each other ships and tanks?

I like to believe it was from the Americans. But others said from the Japanese.

Yes, I remembered that in our history. Gen. McArthur landed in the shore of Lingayen Gulf. My mother has stories of the WW11 when she was still a little child.

I find WW2 interesting as I lived through it and my father was a soldier. He never went to your part of the world, he fought in France and Belgium.

My uncle was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force and flew fighter planes in WWII. He blew the Japanese out of the sky. I saw many Japanese fighter planes in Oahu, Hawaii near the US Arizona, the ship they bombed.

It’s good that they can preserve the plane for people to look at it.
